Overview
Vung Vieng fishing village of Bai Tu Long Bay is located in the north-east of Vietnam close to Cua Ong - Hon Gai - Cam Pha and Thuong port Van Don coal mines, going up and down the border of Mong Cai and Bai Tra Co sea. Vung Vieng Fishing Village is about 25km from the land. This is the living place of thousands of busy and prosperous year-round fishermen who are still happy and warm. Vung Vieng Fishing Village
In order to visit Vung Vieng fishing village, visitors must go to a bamboo boat which is a small boat used mainly in fishing villages and go through Hang Cao - a famous cross-shore cave of Bai Tu Long Bay of Vung Vieng Fishing Village. When visiting Luon Cave, you continue your journey to discover Vung Vieng Fishing Village. The image of the fishing village is very simple, looming a few shackles of rafts leaning against the mountain of rafts with hybrids floating around like straight lined balls, which are rafts of sea pearls.
The more you enter the village, the more open, no one knows where you will go between the coincidence and the message of the mountains and the sea and the sky. The fish rafts are located along the cliffs. The fish rafts are located directly under the floor under the yard. The cobia, grouper, and bass are raised quite large to serve the system of restaurants, hotels or export, there are also rafts for ornamental fish to serve as a hobby, elephant ear fish, old fish, and grouper very beautiful. Vung Vieng Fishing Village
From Vung Vieng, tourists can visit Mat Devil Island, Bay Gieng area, go fishing in Vung Ha, visit the primitive forest in Tra Ban Island, Van Don ... and a system of small beaches located at the foot of the mountain like in Ngoc Vung or Van Gio island. These beaches are unspoiled and very suitable for small tourist groups. Then there are caves. Also from Vung Vieng, it takes a couple of hours on board to go to Quan Lan Island where the village is famous for architecture. Here, many archaeological vestiges are found to show the golden age of Van Don commercial port.
