White Dolphin Legend Cruise 3 days/ 2 nights

Family with 4 kids including teenagers for 2D1N on board. Super crew, very attentive and kind. Great food, Super cocktails. Tours were very nice and guide flexible enough to adapt last minute changes depending on our wishes. The boat is clearly getting a bit old and is getting a bit torn on hedges. However we would come back without hesitation.

The Cruise was perfectly organized. We were lucky to be only guests on deck and we felt like on a private luxurious boat with our own crew! All the activities were also well organized. Cabins are clean and comfortable. The bay itself is a wonder and fishermen village is an eyecatcher.But I would like to praise mostly the crew and the guide-Nam. Nam cared for us very single second and told lots of interesting facts about the bay, Vietnam, culture, almost every single aspect you can talk about, and all that in a quite fluent English! Crew was also friendly and the chef Binh is a great creator of tasty cuisine served on deck-my sister is allergic to seafood and she received small portions of different dishes in the same number as ours! We were amazed by the food quality and prrsentation. Overall, a great choice! Do not hesitate to choose White Dolphin and Mr Nam!

From the moment we boarded the boat in Halong City Harbour we could see this was a well organised company. The cabins were small however comfortable and adequate. The meals were tasty, the seafood in particular was fresh and flavoursome. Nam was our English speaking tour guide who was affable and his knowledge of the area was presented in an interesting manner. Although we did not have a clear sky the scenery is truly amazing and a must see. Kayaking on the calm water, squid fishing and embarking on a small fishing boat to view the floating markets and the village area were all activities which made this trip fun.

Had the best time on our 3 day / 2 night cruise on the legend White Dolphin boat. Our family of 13 booked out the boat which must be the best way to tour Halong Bay as we have some flexibility with timing. Everyone including the younger kids, teenagers and adults enjoyed all the activities. We were skeptical about the squid fishing but amazingly caught more than a dozen squids which the chef cooked for us! Another highlight was kayaking to a beautiful little beach and having it all to ourselves. Our guide Nam even brought us towels to lie on. My elderly mum who’s less mobile was very well taken care off by the crew especially when it came to embarking or disembarking from the boat. The boat was comfortable and clean. We were super well fed and paid corkage for bringing our own wines on board but still enjoyed the well made cocktails at happy hour. This time of the year does mean chilly temperatures at night but during the day it was warm enough to enjoy some lovely time on the sun deck. Beautiful part of the world. Highly recommend!

The staff and food was fantastic. The food was superb and we were amazed by the special touches of vegie flowers etc. The cruise follows the same itinerary of many other cruise companies, so you don't miss out, but don't expect deserted caves or beaches either. Our kid's downstairs cabin was damp and moldy. The upstairs double cabin was roomy and fine. The boat needs a paint and a bit of a tidy up. But the bay is gorgeous.
