Uzbekistan, officially the Republic of Uzbekistan, is a landlocked country in Central Asia with an area of 447,400 km2, the 56th largest in the world. Previously, you may not have heard much about this country but Uzbekistan is a popular tourist destination in the world. In Uzbekistan, the summer is very hot, the temperature can be up to 40 degree Celsius. However, in the autumn and winter, the weather is mildly pleasant. Therefore, the appropriate time to travel to Uzbekistan is in the autumn, from September to November when the trees are turning into golden colors. 

If you are a traveler who is eager to discover new cultures and new things in the world, you should come to Uzbekistan at least once in your lifetime.  This country is on the legendary Silk Road since more than 2000 years old. Hence, Uzbekistan is one of the oldest and most vibrant cultures in the East. From culture, architecture to art and cuisine are unique, unlike anywhere else in the world. 

Coming to Uzbekistan, you should not miss visiting the cultural heritages including the ancient cities, the religious architecture of Islam, the mausoleums and citadels. Some of the most famous destinations in Uzbekistan are Tashkent – the capital and also the largest city which is famous for its gemstone, Bukhara- known for its legendary Silk Road and also a world heritage site with ancient monuments or Samarkand – the city with the most world cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.
